Do people still read blogs?

My last post was 4 freaking years ago. Haha!
That was quite a long time.
Out of a sudden I feel like visiting my blog, feeling nostalgic.
Do people still read blogs?
Well in this 4 years, so many other social medias have surfaced.
I used to love blogging though I know no one will read it.
But it's okay. It's somehow therapeutic to channel your inner thoughts.
This is like my journal, sort of.
I'm not good at journals, I guess I'm too lazy to write.
I hated writing essays way back at high school, so, yeah.
At times, I have so much to share but I don't know which to share and I ended up not blogging anymore.

So, 4 years in a nutshell:-

1) Early 2014: Quit my cabin crew job from Kuwait Airways and moved back to KL. This decision was partly made because I thought I was in love with this guy. Things didn't ended the way I wish. But hey, people learn, no? Anyhow, I was depressed in Kuwait, things happened for a reason.

2) April 2014: Thankfully I managed to get into my current airline. I am so much happier now.

3) February 2015: I met another guy, clicked and I had a crush on him. Nothing happened cuz he had a girlfriend then.

4) June 2016: That guy went back to his hometown but we ended up going to our mutual friend's wedding together. I thought I was in love. I guess I was really head over heels for him.

5) September 2016: Shit happened. Once again I suffered from depression due to heartbreak. Just when I thought my previous heartbreak was the worst, it ended up that this one tops it all! Lol. Looking back now, I think I was silly. Love made me stupid sometimes.

6) August 2017: All is well. I'm happy, one thing I've learnt for sure, you don't need anyone in your life to be happy. Happiness should come within you. Self love is a priority.

There are ups and downs for sure. But I have to say there are more ups than downs when I'm back to KL. Depression was overcomed more quickly when I have my close friends and family around me.

I guess that's all for today. We shall see when I will decide to blog again.

TEEHEE!

Just Thoughts...

You met a stranger whom eventually became your friend. You developed a good feeling on that friend. You keep in touch with him almost everyday. Then one day, the communication just lost. He stopped texting.

Then, everything just paused right there. And you are wondering what is all that about. You got disappointed. Time passes and you got over it.

Out of the blue, he reappeared in your life again when you are already over him. The texts started coming again. And you are happy caused you think this might be the second chance to start over.

As your hope gets high, he disappeared from your life again. Once more, you are hurt. And the cycle continues.

Sometimes, I feel really silly to be taken for granted by these kinda guys. I have met fair few of them.
They are all the same. They only looked for you when they needed something. Otherwise, you will never hear from them.

Over and over again, I have not learned my lessons. I keep doing the same mistakes for letting them take me for granted. Am being too soft-hearted, too forgiving? Or is this pure desperation? I have no idea.

Sometimes, I feel like breaking down, giving up and losing hope in finding love. Is it even possible? Will there really be someone out there for you, and only for you?

Reminiscent

When I missed my friends, I will start browsing the pictures I got tagged on Facebook.
Looking back at some old pictures really brought back good memories and I started to reminisce them.
In my heart, I thank God for letting me have some people that I can call them as friends.

These are some of the photos that will make me smile whenever I looked at them.

Geneva, Switzerland

Geneva... This place captivated my heart just when I got down from the aircraft.
It is really beautiful with view of mountains..
It's a shame that it was only a short stay.
But, lucky me, despite the short stay, I was able to visit the town!

Checked in to Starling Hotel. Amazing hotel!
Free wifi in the room provided! :D

Part of the lobby.

Cam-whored while waiting for my crew mates.

Cool meadow at the back of the hotel!

At the bus stop to town!

In the bus to town!

And here we are at town!! Amazing view huh?!

I'll be a fool not to snap pictures!!!

We walked continuously while admiring the well maintained buildings.

The bus track.

The sun was shining glaringly!!

With Maria.

Up up here we go to check out the old city.

Audrey Hepburn..

It's actually a salon. I have no idea why they put a sad smiley. Hehe.

Cool door!

Beer is cheaper than water. But still, the living cost here is expensive.

Great pasta, I spent CHF 40 for this dinner!
That's approximately RM 120!!

LOL at the kid photobombing this picture!

Chu chu train!

Felt like a kid again while indulging cotton candy!

Oh, how I missed Geneva!!

Frankfurt, Germany

Day 01

When I finally reached the hotel, I immediately stripped off my make up, took my shower and head out to check out the city with Angel! I was just so freaking excited to be there!!

View from the lobby near to my room. We were staying at Maritim Hotel.

I call this the Hammer Man Statue. Spotted along the way when we walked to downtown.

With my fellow crew mate, Angel. She's such a sweetie. I actually flew with her before for my very first flight to Bangkok. :)

Naked Lady Fountain. LOL.

The famous Euro Sign!!

We were walking continuously and eventually reached River Main.

Spotted this majestic church, Saint Bartholomeus' Church (Dom) from the Iron Bridge (Eiserner Steg).

Me on the Eiserner Steg!!

Spotted a lot of padlocks locked at the bridge.

Lover Padlocks.. How sweet..

It was a sunny sunny day!!

Romer Square in Frankfurt am Main.

Peace!!

:D

And we are getting closer to the church!!

And closer..

Here we are!! The inside of the church was amazing. But due to respect, I did not snap any pictures inside.

Some ice cream for the sunny day!! Super yummy.

Headed back to the hotel by the train as we were too tired to walk. Got some FRESH strawberries at the train station and I enjoyed them in my hotel room!

Day 02

Was earlier told by another crew that the hotel provide bicycle for us to cycle around with no charge incur.
I was dubious but plucked up the courage to ask the receptionist and turned out that it's true!!
And so I happily went cycling around Frankfurt city!!
Fun but nerve wrecking at the same time!
I was basically cycling on the road!! :D

Some pictures I snapped during my exploration of the city by bicycle!

Went back to the hotel after an hour plus later to get ready for:-

The zoo!!
Some of the animals in the zoo..

Cam-whoring with a forever alone baboon.

Proceed to Zeil Street for some shopping!!
And lunch / dinner!

Apple pur... Refreshing!! It's apple wine by the way..

Wiener Rahmschnitzel. Damn GOOD!

Will be blogging about Geneva in my next post! Woots! :D
