Hannah Turns 3!

Time passes fast..
It seems like only yesterday Hannah turned 1..
Looking at a baby turned to a toodler makes me feel OLD!
GAH!
I am going to be 22 soon..
OLD!!!
>_<

Anyhow, back to the point, yesterday was my niece's 3rd birthday!!
Went to celebrate her birthday at my house's nearby restaurant.
My mum bought her a cake.
Hannah is such adorable toodler..
When you ask her (in Cantonese): Hannah, how old are you?
Then she'll answer: 3 years old (Sam Sui in Cantonese and show her three little fingers).
Yeah..
Adorable.
:)

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY, DEAR LITTLE HANNAH!!

Dinner Time

The Dinner Presentation by Prince Hotel's Staffs..They were hilarious!!!

The dancers.. *yawn* They were quite boring...

Performance by Vivian.. I think she performed really well..Strong vocals..

From this view, can you really tell that the girl was a Miss Malaysia Universe? She is indeed. For the year 2008. Sorry but she just don't sparkle like a pageant winner... Syafinaz Selamat of One In A Million Judge was there too but didn't take any picture of her.. Not important anyway... But all I know is they reached super late for this dinner..The dinner supposed to start at 7.30p.m but both of them came at like 8.30p.m (I know they are the VIP's but still)..

>_<

The Director of Shiseido Malaysia Kochi San.. He even came earlier than the 2girls that I mentioned...

Will Quah.. The emcee of the night... He's such a sweetie...

Sigh.. How can he look so good...

I was assigned to station at the Lucky Draw Gift Redemption Counter..

Goofing a little...

So Far So Good

Here's a quickie post.
Work loads never been heavier than now...
Urgh..
That's the cons for holidaying too long..
I was on leave from 6th - 8th Jan (My pregger sis was home alone & I have to accompany her) and 12th - 15th Jan (My Jogja trip!)...
Back to work for half day on 9th and full day work on 11th.
Hehe..
And I've been slacking a lot.
Still in holiday mood.
And now comes the problem.
The work load... >_<

Never mind..
I'll move on with some good things which happened to me.
Well, I was assigned to help out for this Shiseido Annual Dinner on 20th Jan.
At pre-dinner, I helped to packed their door gifts (300 of them).
As I was packing, I drooled as the door gifts each have a good shampoo & conditioner, ZA eye shadow, Shiseido Day Moisturiser, Shiseido Moisturiser Gel, Pure & Mild Tavel Kit, Pure & Mild Toner and a nice make up pouch (Total items = 8).
How lucky for those Shiseido's staffs...
Sigh.

Continued on with helping out at the registration counter, stand by at the lucky draw prizes (good good prizes!Even have Ipod Nano!!!), and adoring Will Quah (Emcee for the night).
He's so handsome and charming...
Sigh..
Got a few pictures taken with him.
But they are in my colleague's camera..
Have to wait!
The whole thing ended around 1 a.m.
The organiser thanked us for helping out and guess what?
She gave us those extra door gifts to us...
I WAS LIKE YAY!!!!! :)
Hehe...
Lucky enough to also have a room to stay for the night..
And enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next day...

Moving on to yesterday, my colleague from another department asked if I can go on tour during CNY.
I was like "Yeah..Where to?".
And she said, "8 Days Shanghai."
Shanghai..Not only there but other places like Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou and Hangzhou.
I've been to Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou.
However, as I said, this tour is under the Series department.
I can't just go ahead and say YES and then go on tour.
Instead I asked my colleague to seek for my HEAD's approval...
So, I am waiting for the GOOD news..
Hopefully I can go..
Hehe.

Okay..That's all the updates.
Jan is a good start for 2010.
I hope this will last till end of the year..
LOL..
So far so good... :)

P/S: Will Quah is charming and he is a great emcee...Hehe...Just so you know... :)

Jogja!

Hola!
I just went for holiday at Jogjakarta last week!
Had amazing time there!
Here goes my adventure for the 4 Days 3 Nights tour!
Please bear with me as this post is full with words!
There's so much to say in words about this trip!

Day 01

Air Asia rescheduled the flight from 2pm flight to a 700 am flight! I woke up at about 3.30am to get ready! My dad was so kind to fetch me all the way to LCCT! So, I flew to Jogja safely (SLEEP ALL THE WAY THERE. It was a 3-hour flight).
When I arrived, it was raining. At the airport (The simplest airport ever!), I waited for my sis at the airport for almost 4 hours. She flew from Singapore to Jogja. That’s why I had to wait for her. ALONE! I waited there patiently though (Was re-reading Remember Me by Sophie Kingsela while waiting). The wait was ok. I don’t feel bored or anything. Even chatted with the one of the locals. & I passed the 4 hours successfully! And my sis was here!
Then, we proceed to our hotel, Novotel. Did the check in and we rested for a while in the room. My sis was hungry so we went to have our late lunch at the mall next to the hotel we were staying. By that time, the rain was basically pouring! The pumps I was wearing got all wet! My sis and I hunt for flip flops at the mall.

Later, we proceed to the food court. The food court in this mall was rather interesting. It was so cosy and it even have WiFi! My sis had this mee call Tamie, Soto and Avocado Juice. I just nibbled her food! And also her drinks! After feeding our tummy, we went back to our hotel and asked the reception at the Business Center for some tour advice.
Continue to our first sightseeing / shopping at Malioboro Street after the rain stopped. Travelled there by bus. At the bus stop while waiting, we bumped into the receptionist, Ami who gave us the tour advice with a foreigner (She was on the same flight with my sis). We made friends with them and planned to go to Borobudur together. We even stopped at the same stop and later on splitted up on our own.
So, me and my sis did a lil shopping at Malioboro. Walked the entire street of Malioboro and it was flooded with batiks! EVERYWHERE, almost EVERY SHOPS! Batik shoes, Batik shirts, Batik everything!
I also did a temporary tattoo! Totally painless!LOL... Had our dinner at Malioboro Mall. Ordered some local dish and KFC. I have to tell you this, Jogja's KFC is sooooooooo goooood! YUM!
Went back to the hotel as the rain started pouring again! In the room, I realised that my fake tattoo was smudged!! :(

Day 02
Had a restless night caused I was not used to the bed. I kept awaking from my sleep as I thought it's already morning (My sis too!). But when I look at the clock it's still 2am (Note: Jogja's time is an hour lagged from Msia's local time)!
After breakfast, we went to Prambanan by bus. It was exciting as we were using the city bus there. When we reached the station, too lazy to walked to Prambanan, we took this thing called andong (Horse cart). It was an interesting ride!
Visited the Candi Prambanan. This was once a Hindu temple. We dare not enter the candi as it looks kinda creepy inside (It was dark!). So we just walked around the balcony of the candi where it was BRIGHT!
We went back to our hotel, rest a lil and I checked my watch, I was like 'WHAT? Only 2pm?' (It feels like it was 4pm at that moment. I don't know whether it was just me, but I feel that the time seems to pass quick slowly at Jogja!).
Assuming it's still early, we planned to visit Kraton Palace located at Malioboro Street. Upon reaching Malioboro, we only found out that it was closed at 2pm! =.=
We just do more shopping instead (And faced more of the batiks!). I passed by the place where I got my tattoo and the fella who did my tattoo recognizes me. He saw my smudged tattoo and offered to touch it up for me, for F-R-E-E! How nice of him.. :)
Day 03
As planned, met up with Ami and Ellen to visit Borobudur. We rented an Advanza for half day for the transfers. It was quite a long journey from the hotel to Borobudur. About 1 hour journey by car.
We visited the magnificent Borobudur. It's like a dream come true for my sis as she's been longing to visit here for a loooooong time. We even hired a guide to do the explaining and it was fun to know more about Borobudur. FASCINATING. And yet SUPER DUPER HOT! I even got sunburn!

And the locals who sell souvenirs were so persistent. Keeeeeeeeeeeeeep insisting us to buy souvenirs from them and chased us from the candi to our rented Advanza! At last, my sis was deafeated by 1 of the seller and had a great bargain with him. She bought a Prambanan and Borobudur replica for total of RP 50,000.. I think it was a great deal. :)

Do you see the fire in their eyes while doing sales? LOL! XD
Day 04
Sayonara Jogja! I really love this city! The people here are so nice and warm and friendly! Looking forward to come back for holiday here in the future! :)
More pictures will be uploaded on Facebook soon!
